Cast your mind back to the beginning of last December, and here are the rest of the photos from Spain.
We stopped off at a churros place on our last full morning. It was always heaving, so I assume it was good, but I have to admit I like the idea of churros more than the actual thing.
We had planned to go to a bird of prey centre, but it was on the top of a very steep hill/small mountain and was closed due to gusting winds. We got back on the commuter train and ended up in Bioparc Fuengirola, which was well worth the trip. Flamingos just inside the entrance.
You can't see them very well, but there was a pile of lemurs on the island.
Some exotic, yet awfully familiar birds.

Incredibly glossy black chickens of some sort.
And hanging from the roof beams, fruit bats.
Mouse deer.
No idea, but it looked like it was made from felt.

Iguana and giant tortoises.
A pile of porcupines - they slept while the meercats played outside in the enclosure in the daytime, then swapped places at night.
Small groups were allowed on to the lemur island - lemurs really don't care. The member of staff was very clear that we would all get kicked out if anyone touched a lemur, and there were a few close calls with young children, but overall it was amazing.
There were the well-known ring-tailed lemurs as well, but they seemed to prefer the treetops.
Not sure why the whole of Spain is not obese.
Malaga has some excellent graffiti.
David tries the Tiny Rebel Hadouken - we were a bit upset to find out that Tiny Rebel is the brewery, so the beer is just called Hadouken.
They had a very, very big book of beers.
