Done sulking

The case is unpacked and put away and most of the gifts have been posted (after a moment of confusion when my local post office told me they weren't accepting any post for Japan at all, but the larger one in town had no problems).

And we took advantage of the spring-like weather yesterday to head out to see the Haru Matsuri Japanese festival in Toss, just outside Winterthur. There was great origami by my friend Mr Yamaguchi, calligraphy on demand from Mr Nojima and plenty of fantastic food including traditional Japanese sweets, yakisoba, Japanese baked breads and bento boxes by the amazing Washoku AG.

I wasn't intending to go to the concert advertised, but Mr Yamaguchi reserved tickets for us so we went to see Kiraku - can't recommend them enough! It was a fantastic show and lots of fun. Photos of the Kiraku concert are here!
