Back to baking
After himself's parents left, I had about 1/2 kilo of cherries left in the fridge that we hadn't eaten... so I looked for some recipes! These cherry ricotta muffins are cooling off and should be ready to have for desert soon...
They're good - heavy and cakey rather than muffiny, but since they barely rose at all that's pretty much to be expected! Wonder what all that raising agent was for then... maybe the baking soda goes off? Well, I have still more cherries to use up, so there may be another batch to experiment with!
