Oh my

Nobuko took me to a restaurant by the river that she'd heard good things about, and it was divine! It described itself as "matcha cuisine" and most things had matcha, or at least tea leaves like those scattered on top of the rice or over the delicious white miso soup full of mushrooms. The three cute little containers at the front had potato with a creamy matcha sauce, crab with matcha, and - as it was in season - fig with matcha. Why yes, they do go together. And this was the cheapest item on the menu!
